The most recent issue of Famitsu reports that the Japanese version Final Fantasy XIII-2 is complete. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, however, as the game is due for release in less than a month. The team is currently working on finalizing the North American and European versions.
They are also working on upcoming downloadable content including Omega who will be included in the first set of DLC. There is more DLC planned for the future – both free and paid items.
